Coach is built by one person in their spare time. Replies are usually within a few days. If it's a crash or something is obviously broken, please include your iOS version, device, and a short description of what you were doing.

- How do I author a workout?

Workouts are JSON files in your iCloud Drive (folder Coach/Documents/workouts/). Download the schema, hand it to any AI chatbot along with your goals, paste the returned JSON into the folder. Coach picks it up automatically.
- Does the rest timer actually survive music, lock, and backgrounding?

Yes. It runs as a Live Activity with a Dynamic Island pill. The last ten seconds tick audibly and the session ends with a gong, so it works when the phone is six feet away on a tripod with music playing.
- Can I use Coach without an Apple Watch?

Yes. Everything except live heart rate works on the phone alone. Sets, rest timer, Strava upload, everything.
- What's the difference between rehab mode and strength mode?

Strength mode (the default) keeps PR celebrations on and the morning pain-check off. Rehab mode flips both: PRs are suppressed (a rehab PR is often a warning sign) and a 10am next-morning reactivity check gets scheduled after each session. You can switch any time in Settings, and both toggles are independently overridable.
- Is there a paid tier or subscription?

No. Coach is a one-time App Store purchase. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads.
- Can I export or delete my data?

Everything Coach stores lives on your device (SwiftData, HealthKit) or in your own iCloud Drive. Uninstalling the app removes local storage; HealthKit data and iCloud files stay under your control in iOS Settings and iCloud Drive respectively.
